September 23, 2026: Changjiang Nonferrous Metals quoted A00 aluminum at CNY 24,230–24,250 per metric tonne, averaging CNY 24,240, down CNY 30 from the preceding quotation. The published reference is for Shanghai delivery and should be read as a spot benchmark, not a finished-panel price.

Cross-check and market context

Independent market references confirmed the same mild downward direction. The Shanghai A00 cash reference was reported around CNY 24,230 per tonne, while the SHFE aluminum contract traded near CNY 24,225 per tonne around midday, down CNY 15 on the day. These figures use different assessment methods; the Changjiang quotation above remains our headline benchmark.

The narrow CNY 20-per-tonne Changjiang range suggests a relatively orderly spot market despite the modest decline. Overseas buyers should continue to separate the daily raw-metal benchmark from fabrication, coating and logistics costs.

  • Delivery basis: Published A00 values are spot references; freight and delivery location affect landed cost.
  • Fabrication: Panel geometry, perforation, forming and edge details affect conversion costs.
  • Finish: PVDF coating, color, gloss and warranty requirements influence the final quotation.
  • Specification: Alloy, temper, thickness, dimensions, quantity and export packaging must be priced together.

Procurement takeaway: A CNY 30-per-tonne move in an ingot benchmark does not translate one-for-one into a fabricated aluminum veneer or honeycomb-panel offer.
